Mini Biography

Sushmita was born in Saint-Bengali-speaking on 19th November 1975 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. Her family consists of father, Shubeer, a former Indian Air Force Wing Commander, Mom, Subhra, jewelry designer and owner of a shop based in Dubai. She has two sisters, a sister named Neelam, married to Malik Nauman, and a brother named Rajeev. Subhra father was a poet.

She attended various schools in Nagpur and Jorhat, but spend most of her school years in the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute and Air Force Silver School in Delhi. She was considered a tomboy and spent most of her time with the guys. Since the schools were Hindi medium, they can not speak English until she was 16 years. Then not only learned English but was an English honors student and received a degree in journalism. Because of their homeland, they can speak perfect Urdu.

First public appearance was at the BBC Club competition at the age of 15 He has a few shows later. Then in 1994 she decided a participant in Miss India beauty contest, fully aware that she was to be pitted against the favorite place, Aishwarya Rai. Sushmita is all surprised when she was crowned Miss India while Aishwarya had to content with the first second. Both beauties went to the Miss Universe and Miss World title win each. Ironically the final outfit for Miss Universe for Sushmita is little known by Meen Bazar tailor, and her mother.
